The AFTV Language Immersion Weekend was a huge success, enjoyed by all participants who agreed unanimously it is a wonderful way to spend a weekend attending workshops on a variety of French teaching topics, sharing ideas, speaking only French all weekend, at the beautiful Bellinzona Guest House in Hepburn Springs. Both primary and secondary French teachers found the weekend enormously beneficial and went away revitalised, with many ideas for how to re-invigorate their French classes. Whether they were fluent French speakers or not, they all enjoyed the fully immersive experience.
Huge thanks must go to the Alliance Française, and in particular Marion and Cecile, for facilitating the weekend. You worked tirelessly to ensure everyone benefited from your varied and innovative workshops. Un grand merci :)
Happy customers:
'What a fantastic weekend! The facilitators were supportive and encouraging, and shared interesting perspectives and excellent and inspiring ideas for teaching French. I have come away with concrete new ideas to adjust my practice. The opportunity to spend time casually speaking French with other teachers, from a range of settings, was a great joy and professionally re-invigorating. The food (feasting all weekend) and location (autumn views, pool and sauna included) were also a special treat. I couldn't think of a single way to make it better and would definitely sign up for the next one. Merci beaucoup!!'
'It was a really fantastic weekend! The two AF facilitators were brilliant, they led such interesting, relevant sessions. Wonderful opportunity to meet with other French teachers for an extended period of time in a relaxed setting. Very luxurious accommodation and delicious food. Highly recommend!'
'Excellent in all respects, as always!'
