A big thank you to Vincent Berraud who hosted this meeting at Caulfield Junior College on Tuesday 1 August.
Vincent showed us some of his opening routines and shared with us how he incorporates songs into his lessons to teach vocabulary such as family and professions. We then tackled the huge topic of assessment; comparing progression points, record keeping and how to interpret ACARA (and the soon to be released VCAA).
Thanks to everyone for a collegial discussion and for taking the time to share resources, ideas and to offer support to one another.
We are very excited about our next meeting – “Allez Australie!” A planning session dedicated to making a shared unit on the Olympics
in Paris 2024! Merci Catriona Cowie for such an inspirational idea!
