What qualifications and registration do I need to teach in Victoria?

All teachers wishing to teach in Victoria need to be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching which is the professional body that sets the professional standards for teachers in Victoria. At the VIT website registration information is available for teacher graduates trained in Australia and experienced teachers trained in Australia and teachers trained overseas.

Victorian School of Languages

Victorian School of Languages (Distance Education) in Collingwood is looking for a French Teacher to start Term 3 for the remainder of the school year.

  • 0.4 position, Year 7 to 10 load, but VCE experience is welcomed.
  • Work is on site and during normal school hours.
  • Must be VIT registered and elligible to work in Australia.
