at the Catholic Leadership Centre.
Thank you to all for the professional collaboration and rich discussion around how to design units of work to meet the expected outcomes,
how to design SACs and for sharing ideas.
Stay tuned for details on a similar PL on unit 2 and 4 mid year !
Congratulations to everyone involved in making the AFTV/FATFA 2022 Conference, such a great success!!
Attendance numbers exceeded expectations, food was superb and plentiful, plenary and session presenters thought-provoking, wellness sessions
unique, relaxing and a lot of fun, brilliant venue, very interesting exhibitor stands!
Compte Rendu
During the September school holidays, from Saturday 17 September to Monday 26 September, twelve dedicated French teachers spent
ten days discovering the rich and diverse culture of New Caledonia. The Study Tour was a huge success, helped by the endless sunshine
throughout the trip.
COMPTE RENDU
The 40th Anniversary and AGM of the AFTV was celebrated at the Catholic Learning Centre on Friday 10 February. Being a
special occasion, both Past Presidents and Life Members of the AFTV were invited to attend as well as AFTV members of schools in all 3
sectors. It was a very well attended and happy meeting where participants had plenty of opportunities to catch up with colleagues, some of
whom they hadn’t seen for a long time.
The AFTV Language Immersion Weekend was a huge success, enjoyed by all participants who agreed unanimously it is a wonderful way to spend a weekend attending workshops on a variety of French teaching topics, sharing ideas, speaking only French all weekend, at the beautiful Bellinzona Guest House in Hepburn Springs.
Compte Rendu
Hook, Lines & Sync-er was a great opportunity for Primary and Middle years teachers to get together and re-think some of the ways in
which French is delivered and ‘received’ in Victorian schools.
