Keynote Summary

Adaptability is a fundamental skill for all of us who teach. We are currently adapting to some fast-moving developments in the language teaching landscape. For example, we are seeing:

  1. Changes in the mindsets of Generations Z and Alpha.
  2. The impact of integrated language teaching approaches.
  3. Evidence of the early benefits on mind and brain when learning an additional language, such as French.

This presentation explores seven trends, with insights on how we can adapt to realise the best potential of our students and energise ourselves as teachers.
