The 40th Anniversary and AGM of the AFTV was celebrated at the Catholic Learning Centre on Friday 10 February. Being a special occasion, both Past Presidents and Life Members of the AFTV were invited to attend as well as AFTV members of schools in all 3 sectors. It was a very well attended and happy meeting where participants had plenty of opportunities to catch up with colleagues, some of whom they hadn’t seen for a long time.
As well as the business of the AGM, the AFTV was honoured to learn of the History of the Association through Dr Margaret Gearon’s speech prior to the cutting of the cake ceremony. The raffle offered many prizes and the AFTV is grateful to all of the sponsors for their donations. A most successful meeting/party and congratulations to the organising committee for a great team effort.
Félicitations to AFTV President Philippe Vallantin, who was awarded an AFTV Life Membership in appreciation for outstanding and
dedicated service to the AFTV.
