Marilyne combines a very personal approach with a highly professional teaching method. As a native French speaker, with love of French and 30 years of teaching students, from early childhood to adults, she works with the needs of her groups to develop speaking, grammatical and cultural knowledge in French.
Her love for the language took shape at La Sorbonne where she studied Linguistic and Literature. She taught French at 'Lycée Français de San Salvador' in Central America, then in Australia, at Sophia Mundi Rudolf Steiner School, St Michael’s Grammar School and at Monash Uni.
Since 1999 Marilyne is running Almaje Scholae Linguae catering for students at beginner, intermediate, advanced and tertiary levels,
providing group classes and private lessons to high school students, adults and corporations. She is now running all classes online.

the superb new drama from multi award-winning writer/director François Ozon (Swimming Pool, 8 Women, Under
the Sand).
L'Étranger is
a gripping adaptation of Albert Camus’ landmark novella about a detached young expatriate on trial for murder in 1930s French-colonised
Algeria.
