COMPTE RENDU - AFTV VCE PL : From Classroom to exam

Posted 31 May

On Monday 27 July, 57 French teachers from across Victoria gathered at the Savoy Hotel Melbourne for the AFTV professional learning workshop, From Classroom to Exam: Empowering Students for the French VCE Examination, presented by Karine Coste and Xavier Reuter.

Throughout the day, participants explored practical, evidence-based strategies to prepare students for both the oral and written components of the VCE French examination, with a strong focus on classroom-ready resources and explicit exam preparation. The highly interactive sessions encouraged discussion, collaboration and the sharing of ideas, creating a positive and supportive professional learning environment.

Feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

  • Thank you to Karine Coste and Xavier Reuter – what marvelous presenters
  • I appreciated how direct and practical it was, especially the resources provided.
  • A heartfelt thank you to Karine Coste and Xavier Reuter for generously sharing their expertise and delivering such an engaging and informative workshop, and to all participants whose active involvement and collaborative spirit made the day such rewarding and successful professional learning experience.
