Nina et le secret du hérisson - Nina and the Secret of the Hedgehog

We are pleased to invite your students from years 5 - 8 to a screening of this delightful animated French film in which 10-year-old Nina and her best friend Mehdi plot to find stolen money she believes is hidden in an abandoned factory; an exquisite new adventure about a young girl with a wild curiosity and love for her family, featuring the voice talents of beloved French cinema icons Audrey Tautou and Guillaume Canet.

Ten-year-old Nina has always filled her imagination with her dad's highly improvised bedtime stories about hedgehogs. But when he loses his job, Nina begins to have concerns about the future. So, after hearing rumours of a treasure stashed away by the old factory's boss, Nina and loyal best friend Mehdi decide to organise a risky search, in the hope of sharing the loot between her father and his fellow coworkers. Thus begins an incredible adventure full of humour and colour, one that proves Gagnol and Felicioli's talents as artists and storytellers of ingenuity and empathy are as evident as ever…

“A magnificent film, featuring an intrepid, lovable heroine in enchanting settings (a sublime forest).
”Le Parisien
